Samin Amiri

Ideator, Illustrator & Artistic Narrator

From combining stories that share the same purpose and concept, or from separating a single story into different narratives, new meanings and results emerge. We can never understand or experience any world in exactly the same way as another.
Accordingly, for example, the Deja’vu collection is based on the shared suffering and misfortune experienced by many people, while the Diwan collection draws from different narrations told across various eras — stories of both devils and angels.
This idea forms the main purpose behind all of Samin’s collections and illustrations.

The DIWAN Collection

We have just enough religion to make us hate, but not enough to make us love one another.

This philosophical statement helps explain why the Diwan (Angels morphed into Devils) in this collection are moving from light to darkness.

The STORIES Collection

While a foolish person believes solely in their own perception of a story, a wise man listens to the tale through multiple voices.
Reading stories without bias allows us to recognize and accept one another's different views creating harmony & understanding.
